Sometimes you have to admit them to others. Here’s one of the best phrases in the English language: “I’m sorry.” Those words could start a whole new relationship. They could start two people going in a whole new direction. Admit your mistakes to yourself. You don’t have to babble about them to everyone in the neighborhood. But it doesn’t hurt you to sit down and have a conversation with yourself and say, There’s no use kidding myself. Here’s where I really am. I’ve got pennies in my pocket and I’ve got nothing in the bank. That’s what I said after a Girl Scout left my door. I had a conversation with myself and I said, I don’t want this to happen anymore.
"4-Hour Workweek" author Tim Ferriss and other productivity nerds say the most effective way to make life plans is something called lifestyle design. Instead of focusing on the status you want to attain, it's better to focus on the life you want to experience. Thinking about lifestyle design means considering the elements needed for us to flourish — like money, mobility, time, and relationships — and how we want those things to come together.

Air out your attitude: Anger, cynicism, fear, self-doubt, pessimism, denial, envy, and jealousy can take the sparkle out of your life. If you need to apologize, bite the bullet and do it. If you're still angry and waiting on an apology from someone who won't or can't give you one, let it go. Think of any grudges that you are carrying and toss them. They are not contributing to your life, they are contaminating it -- so they need to go to the junk heap. Only then can you put positives in their place and make some room for happiness. Second, pay attention to when and how you are negative and where your attitude might fall on a negative to positive meter. Then you need some intention and action that will help you become more positive and uncover the confidence buried under old attitudes. Chuck out all those boring useless old habits and make way for fresh and inspiring adventures.
Corporate coach Beth Weissenberger of the Handel Group has worked with executives at companies like GE and the New York Times, teaching them how to navigate office politics for maximum productivity and success. Office politics shouldn't mean gossiping and manipulation, Weissenberger said. They should be about building meaningful relationships with the people you're surrounded by all day.
“Detoxification is an important part of health and healing, and it can be supported by diet and lifestyle,” she notes. “The question for practitioners will always be: How can I help my patients feel better and be healthier? Detoxification surely has a role to play there because so many steps in the detoxification pathway are dependent on nutrient status.”
“When the body detects high xenobiotic loads, phase 1 and phase 2 enzymes normally are induced so that more enzymes are present and detoxification occurs at an increased rate,” she continues. “However, some toxic compounds, like those in cigarette smoke and charbroiled meats, increase phase 1 but not phase 2 enzymes, resulting in high levels of unstable intermediate molecules that can trigger free radical damage. This increase in circulating free radicals may be part of the mechanism linking the cancer-promoting toxins in cigarette smoke and charbroiled meats to increased cancer risk.”3
The participant's goal is to get a score of 100 out of 100. The objective of the program is for the participant to get complete about 100 possible incompletions in their life. Incompletions are those physical, emotional or mental items, which are in some way not resolved in the current moment. Incompletions of any kind drain energy. That is, they require energy to live with, given it takes work to keep us whole when there is something in the space. To have full integrity (like a complete circle) is normal; the program gives one a way to get there in a natural way.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Federal Trade Commission have taken action against several companies selling detox/cleansing products because they contained illegal, potentially harmful ingredients; were marketed using false claims that they could treat serious diseases; or (in the case of medical devices used for colon cleansing) were marketed for unapproved uses.
