When you sit down to a meal, try to savor every bite. Especially the first few, because those are the bites you're going to enjoy most. I, personally would like to be able to focus on more. The energetic map is limited and I find I constantly doing things….as opposed choosing a consistent schedule that is fulfilling…. complete an activity, such as….time to read…time to exercise at home (yoga) . Thinking about lifestyle design means considering the elements needed for us to flourish — like money, mobility, time, and relationships — and how we want those things to come together.

Mostly, I’m overcome with joy at the opportunity. If I was still actively addicted, this trip would be unlikely. You can sauté (panfry) vegetables in a non-stick pan with a small amount of cooking spray. Or try frozen or canned vegetables for a quick side dish—just microwave and serve. When trying canned vegetables, look for vegetables without added salt, butter, or cream sauces. Commit to going to the produce department and trying a new vegetable each week.

Spend 15 to 30 minutes every single day listing off what you have to be grateful for. Even if you feel like you have nothing to be grateful for, search for something. Maybe you’re in a financial hole, but at least you have the intellect in your mind and the ability to walk, talk, and reason. If you search, you can always find something to be grateful for.
